Long, Crawford Williamson, 1815-1878

Crawford Long, a Georgia native, received his education at Franklin College (University of Georgia). He completed his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania in 1839. After a short time in New York, Dr. Long returned to Georgia and spent his entire career there as a physician and surgeon.
